Director of Trading

Oliver joined Red Oak in November 2007. His primary responsibilities include monitoring all markets traded and executing all orders for Red Oak’s managed accounts. He tracks both daily and monthly account performance, and he ensures that every trade is executed accurately, properly, and is accounted for correctly. He observes and analyzes futures markets and calendar spreads daily. Oliver maintains all trading relationships and assists in research, performance reporting, and client service.

Oliver began his career with Carr Futures as an arbitrage clerk on the floor of the COMEX. From Carr he moved to the energy futures and options rings on the NYMEX, trading for independent firms and option locals.

Oliver received a BS in Finance from Saint Bonaventure University, Saint Bonaventure, New York.
